Before we take on the challenges of 2026, we wanted to take a minute to look back on what we have achieved in the past year.

Here is our Ravelin Wrapped for 2025 – in other words, Ravelin's fraud detection and payments technology in numbers.

In 2025:

• Ravelin secured over 3.5 billion transactions from around the world, serving 755.2 million unique shoppers.
• Ravelin processed $61.5+ billion orders in 2025.
• We supported 340+ merchants accept payments from customers from over 250 countries and territories.
• We were acquired by payments technology leader Worldpay, which has unlocked major new opportunities for our technology and our customers.

2025's most ambitious fraudsters:

• One fraudster attempted to take £34,574,445,492,802.9 from one of our partners in a single order (that's $46,521,472,260,613.48 or EUR 39,694,056,509,149.69 at the time of writing)! Of course, they didn't succeed.
• The most persistent fraudster we thwarted tried to place an order 61,139 times – and still failed.
• Fraudsters were most active in January, and on Fridays.
• The most fraudulent day – in terms of attempted fraud – of the year was 28th February 2025.

Our original research and data continued to serve the fraud fighter community:

• The Global Payments Report 2026, featuring internal Ravelin data, was read by 788+ people since its November release
