Martin co-founded Ravelin to put cutting-edge artificial intelligence to good use in the fight against fraud: “What I really get my kick from is building something that solves a problem,” he explains. “We do this every day at Ravelin.”

Daniella is an expert in fraud and payments, with extensive experience in tech, focusing on preventing fraud while ensuring smooth payment processes and enabling secure and seamless transactions.

Currently leading the Puig Beauty and Fashion multi-brand portfolio in those regards, Daniella has a background and many years of experience within international security affairs that allows her to combine insights from tech, security, policy and commerce.

A lifelong fascination with crime and conflict led Katrina to study Politics and Criminology before earning her Master’s in Security Studies. Initially serving as a data analyst at a tech startup, she transitioned into product management, where she has spent the past decade.

Katrina has worked on technology that manages risk in conflict zones and high-risk regions, as well as for the fintech sector. In 2018, she joined Ravelin’s Product team – a serendipitous role that brings together diverse elements of her background, from risk to payments, crime and technology.

While Digant was studying physics, a computational project piqued his interest around programming, data science and machine learning – areas of interest which quickly won him over.

His first job was at credit lender NewDay, as part of the Credit Risk/Data Science team. Having been exposed to fraud and risk management, Digant joined Ravelin in July 2021, where he works as a Senior Data Scientist.

Dr Alfred Tiley is a Data Scientist with a variety of experience in the private and public sectors, focused on fraud prevention, transport, and healthcare. He has an accomplished background in astronomy academia as an Oxford PhD, and has held a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Forrest Research Foundation, Australia.

Alfred's work at Ravelin is focused on machine learning model development, deployments, and monitoring for the detection and prevention of online payment fraud and refund abuse.
