Ferenc Huszar, data scientist currently of Balderton Capital and soon to be of Magic Pony Technology, discusses the use of Artificial Intelligence to reengineer complex systems. The talk ranges from the ’50 Shades of Machine Learning’ to looking at image compression using machine learning techniques. The talk contrasts engineering and machine learning approaches to solving problems opening up useful mental exercises in comparing declarative with procedural thinking.
